Day 20 - 24th July

It is a rather strange day today, because last night, she wanted to be fed a lot... so from 5pm, 7pm, 9pm, 10pm... eventually gave her more at 11pm... and she slept through till almost 4 this morning.
But the 4am feed, she spilled a lot and didn't have a lot but eventually went back to bed. 6:30am feed, again, she spilled a lot, didn't drink that much but seemed to have drained the breasts almost empty anyway.... and slept till 9:30am..
Didn't start feeding her again till almost 10am.... but she definitely is staying on the breasts for shorter time than the last 2-3 days. So what I figured is, as long as she's had around 40-50 mins ish, she had enough.

So I put her back to bed almost within the hour of start of the feed! Yah! and she stayed awake, making funny noises but seem happy enough.

Then I decided, she needs a nappy change, so I put her onto the changing table, changed her and put her back to bed... no crying at all. She's still happily staying awake playing with herself.

Wow... now that's something I don't get everyday.

Was rather worried about her this mornign when she had all the spilling....

But yeah, we will see how long this lasts... fingers crossed...
Coz there was just one little cry....just now... ^^;;;

Okay... doh! Should have known....

First day at Daycare

Today is the first day Emma starts daycare. She will be in daycare on Tuesday and Thursdays from now. I also have the person from property management company coming over to take photos of our house for renting at 2pm. So, I was busy cleaning and tidying up the house while she's at daycare. After I got everything done and just got out of the shower, I got a call from the daycare. At first I thought, oh no... but then, they only called to let me know that Emma is okay... just in case I'm wondering but feel bad to call. So apparently she had her bottle shortly after daddy dropped her off. Then went to sleep for 2.5 hours... Had another 200ml and was playing on the floor when they called me around 12:45. She told me that Emma is a really easy baby, so far. Sounds very good! I think she behaves better there!! At home, sometimes she won't go to sleep... gets too happy... Hmm... :P At least we know she's okay in daycare... and mum is okay today, very busy actually! :P Sally

Woo finally rolling over caught on video!

This morning when I was getting Emma out of the bed for her 2nd feed, I couldn't find the camera's memory card. Oh well, so I put her down for tummy time anyway and thinking, I bet she's gonna roll over this time and we'd miss it on video again! Yep! Damn! Later I found the memory card and put her on video again... but it only has 7 mins left! Bummer... I thought she might roll over just as the camera is running out of memory... no no, she didn't. Very close so many times though! But now I know what the secret is for her rolling over... She'd have one arm straight and pushing hard, the other tucked in... and she always likes to wiggle to a certain direction very hard... and babies have heavier heads :P So... she just keeps pulling towards one direction and... way she goes... rolls over.
