Saving water
Today we got our water bill. Because we've lived at my parents place for 38 days out of the 85 days of billing period... we've only used 8 kl of water.
Each kl is at the unit price of $1.199 (from 1st July), which means the maximum charge is less than $10.
But instead, we were charged a $12.5 minimum charge.
So, let's say if we were just very conservative in using water... so we try to save water and not waste them.. we still get charged a min charge... and the standard $450 a year waste water charge.
*sigh* This is how our government encourages us to save water?
Oh well... such as life.
I guess I better shower more often then :P
