Emma - not sleeping well
From Monday night last week (8th Oct), Emma hasn't been sleeping well at nights.
Night 1, woke up from midnight and started to cry for dummy every 30-60mins.
Night 2, woke up from 11pm... then almost every hour... (we didn't wrap her arms)
Night 3, probably growth sprut or something, was fed at 3am and the last feed at 11:30pm, but only woke up 2-3 times before the first feed next day, so that wasn't too bad.
Night 4, the night she had the injection....also started not wrapping her arms... unfortunately still not sleeping well.
Not too much better in the weekends either....
So mum's really missing her sleep and wondering if it's something we are doing wrong...
Or it's part of a learning process for her to learn to sleep with her arms free?
Or something else is waking her up at night?
Wondering when she will eventually sleep through the night!
Because she's done so well, she started having a longer sleep at night from about 3 weeks. (4 hourly feed but will have a 5 hour gap after last feed quite consistently, sometimes more...!)
So you think they'd get better....
She also seems to rely on her dummy more and more as well...
Or it might be the injection, coz after the last injection, there was a week of not very good sleep either!!
Now during the day, it gets harder and harder to get her to sleep. Coz she gets distracted so easily now... would be sleepy but wont go to sleep. *sigh*
I think she needs at least 1 nap in the morning and 1 in the afternoon so she doesnt get over tired.
Oh well... I guess we will just have to be patient and pray....
I go back to work next week, so really hope that she would sleep through the night before I go back full time!! Otherwise there won't be much productivity out of me, which is probably not too bad except....I got 4 full days of project management training the first week I go back full time... and an exam for it coming up in December...
Of course the scary thing is... early Dec is her 5 months injection... *cry*
