Haircut & Shower...
I thought I will note this down..
Thursday evening, first time I had a haircut after Emma was born.. becoz she's started grabbing things more.. including my hair.
The hairdresser is actually a neighbour. We've never tried becoz... what if we don't like the haircut... felt like it might be a bit weird...
But she's a lovely lady! One who looks out for neighbours and the neighbourhood! A very nice lady! I kind of regret that we didn't introduce ourselves earlier and didn't get to know her earlier.
She made me feel that I should start paying more attention to what's happening around our house more and look out for the neighbourhood more!
So.. my hair is shorter now... not that anyone had noticed, as it's always been tied up now :P
As for showering... yes I do shower regularly, even though sometimes I do forget, as I don't really go out anyway ...
So why noting it down?
Because yesterday, ebs had to work a long day! Left home at 6am and got home just before 9pm. But I showered! For the first time when he is not home after Emma is born. I've always worry that, what if she cries when I'm in the shower? So I was never brave enough to shower while she's sleeping when ebs is not home.
This week, she's been having her naps regularly during the day, after daycare on Tuesday. So I thought, I will give it a go.
It was rather nice :) Felt like some achivement even though it is something quite trivial. I guess for me, it's just another step forward of getting on with life... new life with teh bub, one that I can shower even if it's just me and her at home!
Although won't be long though :P As we are moving to my parents next Sat.
Anyways, still... :)
