Sleeping through for 8 hours!

20weeks+6/7

Sunday night, I had a really bad night sleep. Basically, I was in bed around 9 and she was up from around 10, then 11... but from 11-2:30 I didn't sleep at all. So I had about 3 hours sleep from 2:30 to 5:30... I was so buggered when I got up.

In the morning, I wasn't too bad, but was a bit ill every time I eat something.. I want to throw up. No, not pregnant for sure! I know the difference. My stomach feels really tight and weird...I just feel sick. It may be related to the lack of sleep?

Anyways, I left work before 2pm to get home and get some rest. I slept for 2 hours...

Last night, ebs insisted that I must have some sleep. So after we showered Emma and put her down to sleep, ebs took her to sleep downstairs in the rumpus in her portable cot. He made himself a little bed downstairs on the floor.

I wasn't too sure about that but I really needed some sleep.

So I was in bed by 8. But I couldn't sleep in the beginning. It just feels so weird, I don't know if Emma is still sleeping? Or if ebs would be okay... and the bed feels empty as well.

Eventually I slept, probably from 8:30... only woke up at 11. That was nice.
I got up to get some water and stood by the stairway trying to listen to see if Emma or ebs was up... nope, very quiet.

I went back to bed. I think I only woke up again at 1.

Then at 3am, ebs came up... he couldn't sleep. The "bed" he made himself wasn't comfortable at all. I asked him, has she been up? Was she keeping him up? He said no. She slept solidly through.. but is a bit wiggly at the moment. I told him he should come back to bed and bring her up.

So he did. Man was she in deep sleep or what. He took her up and put her down to her bed.. still fast asleep!!

She finally cried for the first time at 4am!! (she was down before 8pm! that's like 8 hours!!)
Dummy in, then back to sleep... woke again at 4:30, so I fed her at that time. Then back to bed. Woke up again at 6 wanting another feed, she had 100ml... and got all hyper.
I left her talking in bed by herself for a while... back to sleep again till we had to take her out around 7:15..

Man, the first time she slept through 8 hours!!
I would take anything more than 4 hours in a block right now!

So, she can actually sleep through, now we just have to work out what's waking her up at night.. or if she prefers more noise and more light? Or actually having other people in the same room when she's sleeping??

I really do hope that we will see more of these longer sleeps very soon! Figners crossed!
