Trying to put herself to sleep

21wk + 3/7
Last night we were hoping that Emma would sleep longer... well because she was out with us for a work xmas party and didn't sleep much during the day...

She only woke up 4 times before finally woke up for the day..
First time at 10ish, wanted a feed and was screaming for a bit... must be some sort of tummy pain.. coz after some gas (farts) then she was fine.
Then around midnight, she woke up crying again and was screaming and screaming... didn't want food, gripe water and bonjela didn't work, then we brought out the panmol... still screaming. Tried to change her, too.. no... not nappy change either.
Just as we were getting ready to take her to the doctors, she finally passed some gas and then was happy again.
Both time when she went back to bed, she was turning onto her side, with the head tilted back... arms free.. grabbing the cloth under her head.. little scratch... then off to sleep.

I think she's found a new way of putting herself back to sleep... when her arms are free that is :P

Then again at 3:20am, wanted another feed...

5:40am... poo nappy...

Eventually 6:30 she woke up and started making little noises, I ignored her and for a long time she didn't cry... and eventually she decided she wants to be up...

She was very chatty for the whole day today... also quite sleepy.
Again we were out... and even after we got home, she was happily sleeping next to us on the portable cot mattress while we were watching TV and doing other things. That was quite nice :)

I will add a photo on this later :)

I think our little girl is slowly learning how to put herself back to sleep... still likes her dummy but if she can sleep at least 3-4 hour block at a time, it'd be really nice :)
