Chinese New Year Eve

Today is Chinese New Year Eve, we went over to my aunty's to have dinner. Meg (cousin Stephen's wife) cooked up the feast for everyone!

Before the feast begins, Stephen's god mother was happily playing with Emma. Both seem very happy :D

Uncle Tony having a turn, taking Emma out to the garden to show her around...



Woooo.... I'm hungry again now... yummmmmmm......


Emma is having her small feast.... well a teething rusk :P


Eventually after some screaming and a bottle... Emma passed out on daddy's laps



Then we live happily ever after...... err... not :P

Well she woke up eventually... had bit more playing and grizzling... we got her home... about 15-20 mins of on and off complaining in her cot.. eventually she felt asleep.

First day at Daycare

Today is the first day Emma starts daycare. She will be in daycare on Tuesday and Thursdays from now. I also have the person from property management company coming over to take photos of our house for renting at 2pm. So, I was busy cleaning and tidying up the house while she's at daycare. After I got everything done and just got out of the shower, I got a call from the daycare. At first I thought, oh no... but then, they only called to let me know that Emma is okay... just in case I'm wondering but feel bad to call. So apparently she had her bottle shortly after daddy dropped her off. Then went to sleep for 2.5 hours... Had another 200ml and was playing on the floor when they called me around 12:45. She told me that Emma is a really easy baby, so far. Sounds very good! I think she behaves better there!! At home, sometimes she won't go to sleep... gets too happy... Hmm... :P At least we know she's okay in daycare... and mum is okay today, very busy actually! :P Sally

Woo finally rolling over caught on video!

This morning when I was getting Emma out of the bed for her 2nd feed, I couldn't find the camera's memory card. Oh well, so I put her down for tummy time anyway and thinking, I bet she's gonna roll over this time and we'd miss it on video again! Yep! Damn! Later I found the memory card and put her on video again... but it only has 7 mins left! Bummer... I thought she might roll over just as the camera is running out of memory... no no, she didn't. Very close so many times though! But now I know what the secret is for her rolling over... She'd have one arm straight and pushing hard, the other tucked in... and she always likes to wiggle to a certain direction very hard... and babies have heavier heads :P So... she just keeps pulling towards one direction and... way she goes... rolls over. Finally... in the afternoon, when I was playing with her on tummy time again... video on... after so many close ones... she finally rolls over and caught on camera! Yah! (These p...
