Poor little Emma - first fever - 可憐的妹妹第一次發燒..

Yesterday afternoon, I've noticed that Emma has a few red spots on her legs and arms, phoned up the healthline to check. Nothing major but if it doesn't go away in 3 days or if she develops fever, then phone back or GP.
Last night, she kept waking up after 1:30am and was very hard to settle. I've changed her nappy twice, then felt she was very warm around 3. Checked the temperature, 38.7. I thought hmm... doesn't look good but I kept thinking I only need to worry if it's over 39. So I left her. 3:30, she was up again and still very warm, 38.0 I thought, okay... better give her some pamol. Finally around 4:30am she woke daddy up, while mummy was making the bottle. So daddy took over and fed her. (That's when mummy finally can go back for another 2.5 hour sleep).
We took her in to see the GP, she was still relatively happy and active. The GP said it's viral infection and just keep her cool and keep up with the pamol. Also gave her some antihistamin to help with the rash and sleep. If she has some runs, it's normal.
In the afternoon, we've noticed that she's really unwell. More grizzly. Not quite her normal self and couldn't sleep well. Not very active either. She'd even sit with daddy for over 30mins and still quiet and not wiggling away.
Later in the afternoon, we checked her temperature again, it had gone up to 39 degree. So we gave her some more pamol. 40 mins later, still very hot.. still over 39 degrees. So I called the healthline again, the nurse said, pamol will take 1 hour to take effect. The temperature should drop 0.2 degree, otherwise have to go see the doctor again.
So we waited and checked again. At the meantime, I phoned up another GP to see if they are still open. Yep! And after measuring her at 39 degree still, we took her in.
The GP said, yes viral. Perscribed Ibuprofen 100mg/5ml.
We took her home, gave her a bottle and a dose of ibuprofen and put her to bed by 6:50pm. 7:30, she woke up and I went in to cuddle her for a bit. She was all wet from sweat. But looks like her fever has gone down. *phew*
Just now, daddy gave her a top up bottle and the antihistamine. Hopefully she has a good night sleep and gets better soon. otherwise.. last week daddy had bronchitis, now little Emma is sick... mummy might be the next one! :(
Both mummy and daddy don't like it when she's unwell and unhappy. Breaks our hearts... :(
ps. dunno wassup with today, even the dishwasher packed up today... *sigh* F&P people are coming to fix it on Wed...

昨天下午發現妹妹手上腿上都有奇怪的紅疹子. 打電話去問護士, 他說應該沒事, 3天內會消, 沒有的話, 或是開始發燒的話, 要在打回去, 或是去看醫生.
昨天夜裡 到了1點半以後他就一直醒來, 睡不好. 我換了兩次尿布之後, 3點的時候, 發現他很燙.. 一量 38.7度. 想說, 糟了,發燒了. 可是心裡一直想說要燒到39度才要緊張... 所以就想說看看自己會不會消下去... 過了半小時他又醒來, 還是很熱, 38度, 我才給他一些退燒藥. 4點半他終於把爸爸吵起來... 媽媽終於可以回去再睡兩個半小時...
早上去看醫生, 醫生說是病毒感染, 讓他保持涼快, 給他吃退燒的就好. 如果有拉肚子是正常的. 還給他開了一些過敏藥 (antihistamine), 怕疹子起的很嚴重會癢, 而且這樣他晚上也比較好睡.
今天下午就很明顯的不舒服了, 睡也睡不好, 而且比平常愛哭, 好像沒什麼力氣動, 還坐在爸爸身上乖乖坐了超過半小時.. 平時早就落跑了...
再晚一點發現他好像還是很燙, 超過39度了, 又給了退燒藥... 40幾分之後好像也是沒有改善. 媽媽又打電話給護士. 護士說要等藥吃了1小時後再量, 有降低0.2度以上就表示有效. 沒有的話就要再去看醫生了. 所以我們很乖的又等了一下, 媽媽順便打去給另一個醫生問問看到幾點...
時間到了再量還是39度多... 帶去看醫生... 這次醫生開了更強的退燒藥..
回到家, 給他喝完ㄋㄟㄋㄟ 吃了一次退燒藥. 6點50就睡著了. 7點半又醒來哭, 媽媽去秀秀一下... 發現他很濕, 頭都濕了... 不過燒到是終於退了. 謝天謝地!
剛剛爸爸才又給他補了一瓶ㄋㄟㄋㄟ... 給他吃過敏藥. 希望他晚上好好睡... 早一點好起來.. 不然上週爸爸生病, 現在妹妹生病, 在這樣下去要換媽媽了 :(
看他這樣我們也好心疼喔...
唉... 今天不知道怎樣, 就連洗碗機都掛掉了... 人家週三要來修.
