Pulling ourselves up

* 1st Feb 2008 - almost 7 months *

Tonight, the little one seemed so tired quite early on in the evening. After finishing the full 210ml bottle (which she doesn't always do, especially in the last few days or a 1week or so!), and a bit more playing, still showing very tired signs. We put her to bed.

Then comes the crying... which stopped after 2-3 mins, I thought, wow that's good. But it started again.... so we waited.

After 15 mins, we went into check, she had the blanket over her face. Poor little thing, so that's why she's been screaming for ages!
So we picked her up, cuddles and more cuddles, finally calmed her down, stayed in there with her for a long time, waiting for her to go back to sleep. Instead, she crawl around the cot and keep checking if we are still there.

Eventually, she was pulling herself up and holding onto the side of the cot, and holding onto one of my arm... then both hands on the cot... standing on an angle for about a min or so, until she tried to stand up straighter and lean towards the side, didn't stand properly and fell back to the cot... started crying again.

^^;;; After some cuddle and put back to bed. We left her.

Then the crying begins again. *sigh* One of those nights... last night she was extra grizzly as well, not sure if it is because of her blocked nose (now runny nose)...

10 mins later, we wondered... maybe she's hungry again? Even though she just had 210ml less than 1.5 hours ago. So we made her another 100ml.... (Well was 50 but too hot, so we made it into 100 with more powder). She finished all that and then seem hungry still. So... another bottle was made, which took a bit of an effort to get her to start drinking, even though she was crying still. So another 30 mls... seemed okay and went to bed.

Boy... then she started crying again but this time, settled down very quickly.

30-40 mins later, woke up again. We gave her some pamol at that point. Because she seems to be more grizzly than normal, wonder if she's in pain somehow? Oh well... we will see.

I don't know, each day that goes by, the day she will sleep through seems further and further away... *sigh*
