Plunket 9 months check - 9 個月檢查

Today she had her plunket 9 months check. The nurse checked progress and was very happy.

Measurements:
Weight: 9.72kg
Height: 72.5cm (but she was very wriggly, so the nurse said this is very rough)
Head: 43.5cm

I don't think the height was right, as early Feb, she was measured as 73.5cm and she had been getting taller judging from her clothes and how she can reach higher now. But it's possible that both aren't accurate. So mummy being particular... I've been trying to measure her at home myself, each time is around 74-75cm. That's okay, we will have her measured again some other time. I've been buying mainly size 1 or 2 clothes for her now anyway :P

我覺得身高應該沒有量好, 因為2月出他量起來就有 73.5 公分. 看他的衣服跟他現在可以摸到的地方越來越高, 我知道他這7週有在長高. 也有可能兩次都量錯啦.. 上次太高這次不夠高?
媽媽就很想知道啊... 所以就在家自己量啊.. 腳底踏平踏在牆上... 把他抓好就可以自己量囉... 兩次都是74-75公分.
沒差 改天再量, 反正現在都跟他買 1 , 2 號的衣服囉!

First day at Daycare

Today is the first day Emma starts daycare. She will be in daycare on Tuesday and Thursdays from now. I also have the person from property management company coming over to take photos of our house for renting at 2pm. So, I was busy cleaning and tidying up the house while she's at daycare. After I got everything done and just got out of the shower, I got a call from the daycare. At first I thought, oh no... but then, they only called to let me know that Emma is okay... just in case I'm wondering but feel bad to call. So apparently she had her bottle shortly after daddy dropped her off. Then went to sleep for 2.5 hours... Had another 200ml and was playing on the floor when they called me around 12:45. She told me that Emma is a really easy baby, so far. Sounds very good! I think she behaves better there!! At home, sometimes she won't go to sleep... gets too happy... Hmm... :P At least we know she's okay in daycare... and mum is okay today, very busy actually! :P Sally

Woo finally rolling over caught on video!

This morning when I was getting Emma out of the bed for her 2nd feed, I couldn't find the camera's memory card. Oh well, so I put her down for tummy time anyway and thinking, I bet she's gonna roll over this time and we'd miss it on video again! Yep! Damn! Later I found the memory card and put her on video again... but it only has 7 mins left! Bummer... I thought she might roll over just as the camera is running out of memory... no no, she didn't. Very close so many times though! But now I know what the secret is for her rolling over... She'd have one arm straight and pushing hard, the other tucked in... and she always likes to wiggle to a certain direction very hard... and babies have heavier heads :P So... she just keeps pulling towards one direction and... way she goes... rolls over.
