Popular Emma! 人氣很旺!

I've been told Emma is very popular in daycare before. I know most of the teachers really like her! Most of them wanted to see her smile every time they see her and she's not stingy with her smiles either! Big smiles for everyone. A few weeks ago, I had two little girls, still can't talk a lot but was busy going "Emma, Emma!" Wow! I thought that was amazing!

Today, I went to pick her up, as I was walking in, some 2 year+ kids were yelling out "mummy" "mummy" from the window. I didn't respond, 'cause I'm not their mummy! Then it was like "Emma mummy", "Emma mummy". Wow!! Okay, hello!

I know the teachers like her, as she hardly cries, always seem to be very happy and very active and interactive. They are also very proud of her developments. Not too sure why the kids also like her though. But it's all good :)

之前就聽說妹妹在學校人氣很旺, 我知道學校老師都很喜歡他, 每次看到他就要看他笑一下. 他也很大方啊, 到處跟人家笑的很開心.

前幾週我去接他, 有兩次不同的妹妹在那裡叫 "Emma", "Emma". 我看他們會講的話也不多, 就會叫我們 Emma 的名字, 真感動. 果然人氣很好.
今天就更厲害了, 去接他的時候, 還在外面就有幾個2歲以上的小朋友, 一直對著我叫 "mummy" (媽媽), 我想說, 我又不是你媽... 也就沒回話. 結果就變成 "Emma mummy", "Emma mummy"! 好強...

我知道老師喜歡妹妹是因為他很少哭, 都乖乖一直玩, 又好動, 又會跟你玩... 都很開心這樣.. 加上發展的也不錯, 他們很有成就感吧! 小朋友呢... 我就不知道了咧... 不過沒差, 人緣好是好事情. :)

First day at Daycare

Today is the first day Emma starts daycare. She will be in daycare on Tuesday and Thursdays from now. I also have the person from property management company coming over to take photos of our house for renting at 2pm. So, I was busy cleaning and tidying up the house while she's at daycare. After I got everything done and just got out of the shower, I got a call from the daycare. At first I thought, oh no... but then, they only called to let me know that Emma is okay... just in case I'm wondering but feel bad to call. So apparently she had her bottle shortly after daddy dropped her off. Then went to sleep for 2.5 hours... Had another 200ml and was playing on the floor when they called me around 12:45. She told me that Emma is a really easy baby, so far. Sounds very good! I think she behaves better there!! At home, sometimes she won't go to sleep... gets too happy... Hmm... :P At least we know she's okay in daycare... and mum is okay today, very busy actually! :P Sally

Woo finally rolling over caught on video!

This morning when I was getting Emma out of the bed for her 2nd feed, I couldn't find the camera's memory card. Oh well, so I put her down for tummy time anyway and thinking, I bet she's gonna roll over this time and we'd miss it on video again! Yep! Damn! Later I found the memory card and put her on video again... but it only has 7 mins left! Bummer... I thought she might roll over just as the camera is running out of memory... no no, she didn't. Very close so many times though! But now I know what the secret is for her rolling over... She'd have one arm straight and pushing hard, the other tucked in... and she always likes to wiggle to a certain direction very hard... and babies have heavier heads :P So... she just keeps pulling towards one direction and... way she goes... rolls over.
