Musical Mat - 音樂毯

Emma has this musical mat for ages, it makes different animal sounds and the keyboard has two modes, either making the piano notes or has songs on different key.

She's been playing with it for a while but not usually too interested. But lately, she would play with it and also trying to find out where the sound comes from.

妹妹有一個音樂毯, 上面有不同動物的圖案, 按下去發出不同的動物叫聲, 還有上面的鍵盤有兩種功能. 一個是像鋼琴那樣, 一個是不同的童謠音樂.

他通常沒有特別愛玩這個, 不過最近他都是玩一下, 就開始找音樂的來源...

Trying to turn this thing upside down to see what's underneath... (I think she thinks something under the mat is making the sound)
他會想要把這個翻過去, 看看下面到底是什麼在發出聲音... (我覺得他認為這個下面會發出音樂)


Later when she starts walking, she has even turn the whole thing upside down!
後來會走之後還把整個翻過來找!

Well, most people say that she looks more like dad; some say mum... so I put our photos onto a website for a test... Result #1 - 50/50 Result # 2 - 16% more like dad... First day at Daycare

Today is the first day Emma starts daycare. She will be in daycare on Tuesday and Thursdays from now. I also have the person from property management company coming over to take photos of our house for renting at 2pm. So, I was busy cleaning and tidying up the house while she's at daycare. After I got everything done and just got out of the shower, I got a call from the daycare. At first I thought, oh no... but then, they only called to let me know that Emma is okay... just in case I'm wondering but feel bad to call. So apparently she had her bottle shortly after daddy dropped her off. Then went to sleep for 2.5 hours... Had another 200ml and was playing on the floor when they called me around 12:45. She told me that Emma is a really easy baby, so far. Sounds very good! I think she behaves better there!! At home, sometimes she won't go to sleep... gets too happy... Hmm... :P At least we know she's okay in daycare... and mum is okay today, very busy actually! :P Sally

Woo finally rolling over caught on video!

This morning when I was getting Emma out of the bed for her 2nd feed, I couldn't find the camera's memory card. Oh well, so I put her down for tummy time anyway and thinking, I bet she's gonna roll over this time and we'd miss it on video again! Yep! Damn! Later I found the memory card and put her on video again... but it only has 7 mins left! Bummer... I thought she might roll over just as the camera is running out of memory... no no, she didn't. Very close so many times though! But now I know what the secret is for her rolling over... She'd have one arm straight and pushing hard, the other tucked in... and she always likes to wiggle to a certain direction very hard... and babies have heavier heads :P So... she just keeps pulling towards one direction and... way she goes... rolls over. Finally... in the afternoon, when I was playing with her on tummy time again... video on... after so many close ones... she finally rolls over and caught on camera! Yah! (These p...
