Napier Trip

* 9 months & 3 weeks *



Friday, 25th April - Anzac Day, first time mum and dad taking Emma out on a trip involving long distance driving. We started the journey at 6:05am and Emma had been fed at 5am and been up since then, so she was rather sleepy but took her 40 mins to fall asleep at last. Then she slept all the way to Taupo until we stopped for a bathroom break 2 hours and 40 mins later. It was a nice drive!


Then sort of cried all the way to Clive for over an hour as she was bored, want to be out and eventually fell asleep again just before we got to destination.

After having a little break and met up with another family, we head out and found a place for fooood.

那天是我們第一次帶妹妹出遊跑長途喔. 一大早6點5分就出發囉. 妹妹5點醒來喝完ㄋㄟㄋㄟ就起來玩了, 所以在車上很想睡, 快睡著又還沒睡這樣朦朦朧朧的過了40分, 終於睡著了! 這一覺就睡了2個小時40分到陶坡. 我們上個廁所幫妹妹換好尿布又上路囉.

不過這下妹妹在車上無聊, 就一路哭鬧了1個多小時, 直到我們快到目的地之前才又睡著.

我們找到約好的朋友一家, 休息一下, 上路去找吃的囉!

天氣很好, 我們坐在外面吃飯


Little Emma is thinking, hey stop taking photos, give me the food!!
妹妹: 不要照相啦, 我要吃飯啦... 拿不到.....


Once she got her pasta, there was no stopping! We were stuffing them down fast!
終於拿到手了, 我們就很不淑女的狼吞虎嚥起來了...


What do you want? I've got my mouth full!
怎樣? 嘴巴裡塞的滿滿的喔...



After lunch, the olderkids started to play with other kids there.
飯後, 大一點的小朋友就跟其他的小朋友玩起來了.

我們來張全家福吧. ㄟ.... 這位小朋友怎麼做起鬼臉來啦? (我們跟他說要裝很認真的臉喔, 他就做起鬼臉囉!)

After lunch, we head off to a winery to have a look, apparently the building and the view over there is quite amazing.

飯後我們去看一間出名的酒廠. 那裡的景觀真的很不錯

On the way out... 3 kids. Emma is trying to have a feel of Alex's head. Then trying to touch the camera.

走出酒廠, 3個小朋友, 妹妹要去摸哥哥的頭啦... 然後又想要去抓照相機.

On the way to the holiday house, we saw a fire engine by the beach, and this is what happened, a campervan has caught on fire!

在去住宿的路上, 看到海邊有消防車, 原來是一台 campervan* 燒起來囉!

(*Campervan 是比較大型的車子, 裡面有廚房, 廁所跟臥舖等等.)

And the little one is fast asleep again :)

小鬼又睡著囉! :)
