Teething - 長牙

Emma had her first 2 teeth cut through by 6 and a half month old. Both of the bottom middle one came out. Then... 3 months on... nothing!! We were wondering when we will get some more cutting through. On our Napier trip, our friend Carol was saying that this is not good, she might get 6 teeth coming out all at the same time! Then guess what happened..... the next two days she had 2 teeth cut through; then within a week or so, one more!

3rd teeth: 26th April (the day we noticed, could be there a day before?) - between top middle RHS and the K9*
* normally this one cames after the middle front teeth

4th teeth: 27th April - front teeth top middle RHS
5th teeth: 3rd May - front teeth top middle LHS

I think it'd be a while before we see more.... I think. At least it wasn't all 6 at the same time, or a lot more grizzly etc. *phew*!

話說妹妹長牙, 其實算早的... 6個半月下面2顆牙就長出來啦. 可是... 3 個月後... 還是2顆! 好幾次想說好像在長牙了, 結果還是沒有... 上週跟朋友去 Napier 玩, 他們剛好問起妹妹幾顆牙了... 一聽, 他們說, 這樣以後說不定就6顆一起來喔... 可能會很吵喔.
結果....隔天就發現一顆... 在隔天又一顆.... 一週後... 又一顆...

第3顆: 4/26 門牙跟虎牙中間 - 右邊 - 我們發現的那天啦... 之前兩天沒有檢查
第4顆: 4/27 門牙中間 - 右邊
第5顆: 5/3 門牙中間 - 左邊

我想現在就應該再等一陣子才會在長牙了... 還好不是真的6顆一起來! 不過他這次長牙倒是沒有吵. 還好還好. :D

First day at Daycare

Today is the first day Emma starts daycare. She will be in daycare on Tuesday and Thursdays from now. I also have the person from property management company coming over to take photos of our house for renting at 2pm. So, I was busy cleaning and tidying up the house while she's at daycare. After I got everything done and just got out of the shower, I got a call from the daycare. At first I thought, oh no... but then, they only called to let me know that Emma is okay... just in case I'm wondering but feel bad to call. So apparently she had her bottle shortly after daddy dropped her off. Then went to sleep for 2.5 hours... Had another 200ml and was playing on the floor when they called me around 12:45. She told me that Emma is a really easy baby, so far. Sounds very good! I think she behaves better there!! At home, sometimes she won't go to sleep... gets too happy... Hmm... :P At least we know she's okay in daycare... and mum is okay today, very busy actually! :P Sally

Woo finally rolling over caught on video!

This morning when I was getting Emma out of the bed for her 2nd feed, I couldn't find the camera's memory card. Oh well, so I put her down for tummy time anyway and thinking, I bet she's gonna roll over this time and we'd miss it on video again! Yep! Damn! Later I found the memory card and put her on video again... but it only has 7 mins left! Bummer... I thought she might roll over just as the camera is running out of memory... no no, she didn't. Very close so many times though! But now I know what the secret is for her rolling over... She'd have one arm straight and pushing hard, the other tucked in... and she always likes to wiggle to a certain direction very hard... and babies have heavier heads :P So... she just keeps pulling towards one direction and... way she goes... rolls over.
